Dr. Kathleen A. Quill, Senior Consultant

Dr. Kathleen Ann Quill provides consultation, professional development, and training to families and educators. She is currently the Principal Consultant to Virtual Expert Clinics, Inc., a Canadian company who develops web-based training and educational resources (Autism Pro).

Kathleen lectures internationally to share her insights about the educational needs of children with autism. She incorporates behavioral and developmental educational methods in her work. She conducts applied research on language, communication and social development in autism and has taught at University of Massachusetts, Lesley College, and Emerson College in Boston. She has authored numerous publications, is the editor of the popular book Teaching children with autism: Strategies to enhance communication and socialization (Delmar Publishers, 1995), author of the bestseller DO-WATCH-LISTEN-SAY: Social and communication intervention for children with autism (Brookes Publishing, 2000), and author of the e-learning courses on language and communication offered by OCALI.

Kathleen is on the editorial board for Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders and Focus on Autism and other Developmental Disabilities; the Advisory Board for the Autism Spectrum Quarterly; the Board of Directors for Autism Asperger Publishing Company, and is the Director of the Professional Advisory Board, AutismPro.
