Mia Breau, Early Childhood Specialist
Mia Breau has been working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities for the past eleven years. She has provided consultation and direct services to children, school personnel, and families in a variety of settings, including public and private schools, approved special education schools, and in the home. Mia has experience teaching integrated kindergartens in both public and private settings as well as successfully collaborating with educational teams within these settings. She has extensive training in teaching children using researched based methodologies and best practices. Her particular area of expertise is using relationship based teaching methodologies to teach and facilitate social skills within inclusive settings. Mia has gained a reputation as a consultant who works collaboratively with all members of a child's educational team while creating programs enabling children to work within the least restrictive environment. Mia has a BS degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Special Education.
